An Adorable Array of Funny Phrases Cat Owners Catch Themselves Saying To Their Beloved Feline Friends

Hey, friends! Those of you who have cats in your lives know just how comical life with cats can be. Cats are incredibly silly and independent little creatures who march to the beat of their own drums and take no nonsense from anyone! This can create some very strange situations in which you may find yourselves muttering random phrases to your cats as if they could understand, and as if even if they could understand, they might consider listening.

Personally, I find that I often use baby talk when speaking to my cats, since they are, of course, my babies. This often consists of "hello big fluffy baby, did you know that you are the cutest, sweetest, most fluffy, and most delicious little baby to ever baby," among many other very similar phrases. Humans got a little creative when responding to the featured prompt, asking for phrases that they say to their beloved feline companions.

But then when I lay down to sleep at night, he's RIGHT there in my face head butting me and purring up a storm. So I'll pet him and say "Who's a pretty little a hole, yes you are." He IS a gorgeous big fat fluffy Maine Coon.
